New Leagues - This week at PKR & PokerStars

Following the success of the last US Open leagues and Non US leagues we are starting 2 new leagues - Originally titled the US Open League II and the Non US League II.

The 4kingpoker US Open League II and the NON US League II will each be played over 24 games running over 12 weeks with $50 freerolls on Thursdays and $50 added $1 buy-ins on Sundays.

The US Open II will be at 4 of our recommended US friendly poker rooms and open to all members - Games will be at PokerStars, Bodog, Carbon Poker & Full Tilt Poker.

The Non US league II will be at 4 of our recommended NON US poker rooms - Games will be at PKR Poker, Titan, 888.com Pacific Poker & 1 other.

To play our tournaments you need 10+ forum posts. Passwords will then be sent via PM (24hrs before each game)

After a 30 week run of games in the US Open leagues and 12 weeks for the Euro / non US leagues we have finally got the results and the overall top 3 on each of the leaderboards. Congratulations to them for battling through and coming top. They will all receive additional prize money and for those that narrowing came short of the bonus money … The new season of leagues starts this Thursday.

Full Tilt 6000th Member Series Results

Congratulations to our overall winners of the 6000th member series at Full Tilt

As well as each of the overall winners getting an additional $20 into their Full Tilt accounts with a total of 10 games and added guaranteed prize money of $600 I think the series was a great success with over 30 players competing in each of the 10 games.

Well done to all those who made final tables and to those who made it near to the top of the leaderboard. I hope everyone else enjoyed taking part and boosting their bankroll with some money from the $600 prize pool. I’ll be planning to setup more site specific mini leagues in the future.

Originally intended to celebrate our 6000th member in the poker we are now only a hundred or so members short of that landmark figure so it was a good time to celebrate before the new leagues start.

21 The movie about the MIT crew who took Vegas

This is a preview for the new film 21 (twenty one) which will be showing soon. Inspired by a true story I read the book about the MIT team who took down Vegas playing BlackJack and card counting … I loved it so fingers crossed the film will live up to the book.
