88 Seats At 2010 WSOP From 888 Poker
February 10, 2010
As of Monday, February 8, 888 Poker, the flagship site of the same poker network that runs Pacific Poker, has been giving its players a chance to win a free seat at the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event. Actually, that’s not quite right…
888 Poker is actually giving its players 8 chances to win a free seat at the 2010 WSOP Main Event. And there are 88 of them available.
There’s a Bounty Hunter method, in which players compete in bounty tournaments in which they win extra cash rewards for knocking out the likes of Leo Margets, Shane Warne, and the other poker pros at 888 Poker.
There are the typical Status Point Races in which players compete on a leader board for earning the most number of points for playing in 888 Poker real money games. And there is the atypical (and quite original) Social Networking method that has players use their Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube accounts to win their seats. For the ladies only, there’s a Ladies Only method.
The promotion kicks off with a bonus of $8 cash given out for the 1st 50,000 new members of 888 Poker who sign up for the promotion, amounting to an extra $400,000 being awarded on top of the 88 tickets in the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event. This part of the promotion has been happening since January 29, 2010.
Other sites on the 888 Poker Network include Ace Poker, Littlewoods Poker, Lucky Ace Poker, and (go figure) WSOP.com.
