Best Bluff - Chris Moneymaker v Sam Farha WSOP 2003

June 30, 2008

This poker video from the WSOP 2003 main event final is widely held as the best bluff of the World Series of Poker … It’s certainly the most crucial one. Chris Moneymaker is heads up against Sam Farha and fires at the pot twice on the turn and the river holding nothing but a busted flush draw, Sam Farha holding top pair 9’s is in a tough spot to either win or go out of the final in 2nd place and eventually lays the hand down. A great example of a semi buff and a continuation bet on a complete bluff.
