This is a classic YouTube poker video and massively viewed - But I thought we should put it up anyway.

At close to $600,000 in the pot this was the biggest pot ever on High Stakes Poker TV game.

The hand is between Gus Hanson and Daniel Negreanu and has to be every poker players biggest nightmare … Just guarateed to cost you all your chips.

Both players flop trips on the flop of 659 (Gus holding 55 and Daniel 66) on the turn a 5 makes Negreanu a full house but amazingly this makes Hanson quad 5’s.

What is really interesting is the way the hand played out - both hoping the other has caught enough of the action to be able to get all their chips in.

The next time you see a hand like this come up online and curse the random generator - Just remember it really does happen sometimes … Even in a live game.
