TuffBot2000 takes on the players at Full Tilt Poker - This made me chuckle a bit after the Laak Elsami team beat Polaris the poker bot last week.

Anyway I guess the man v machine game will spark off a whole lot of talk about pokerbots playing and winning online so it really is worth mentioning a few things -

Poker odds calculators like GameCalc or PokerBility are NOT Pokerbots …

So many online players sit their saying their playing with a bot when all they’re doing is getting some pot odds etc from a calculator and then making the decision / clicking the mouse themselves.

So it IS true that a hell of a lot of online players use poker odds calculator software but that isn’t the same as playing against a bot - A bot is something you could leave playing by itself making you money while you sleep …

Truth is pokerbots are NOT all over the internet - But get rich quick scams promising secret software to show you “your opponents hole cards” or “win you while you sleep” is and they are all a con …

I much prefer thinking of Tuff Bot 2000 when someone mentions pokerbots.
