Poker Training Sites – CardRunners

CardRunners the the first real Poker Training Site to hit the web and started the poker training site boom. While PXF is focused mainly on MTT’s, CardRunners is geared more towards cash games, although there is still a wealth of information on other versions of poker as well. The site was co-founded by Taylor “GreenPlastic” Caby and Andrew “muddywater” Wiggins, both whom are high-stakes cash game professionals.
Features
There are a few great features on CardRunners. Besides for the videos, players can read blogs on all of the professional players on the site, there is a forum where subscribers and professional can discuss hands and strategy, an FAQ page, and even a page where subscibers can earn rakeback through Cardrunners for Full Tilt Poker. This is because the main professionals of CardRunners are also Full Tilt Red Name Pros.

The Although Cardrunner is not know for its tournament videos, they still have some very big tournament videos. Included is the $10,000 WCOOP Main Event video from Carter King, who won the event outright for over $1 Million Dollars. Other great MTT videos can be found from online legend Isaac “WestMenlo” Baron, who discusses his win in the $750K guaranteed tournament on Full Tilt. Another great MTT series can be found by watch Corwin Cole who goes by the name Mig.com online. Corwin is a 2-time WSOP bracelet winner, so subscribers will be able to get into the head of an online and live professional. Other great videos in general that subscribers will want to take a look at included $200-$400 PLO heads up videos and $200-$400 No Limit Hold Em heads up and full ring videos. As mentioned before, this site specializes in cash game videos, so subscribers can find videos on the highest stakes of most games.
