4king Poker Ramble & Plans

Usually I try to have some sort of thread running through my poker rambles and pick up on some interesting articles at other sites to spread the link love.

This week I thought as it’s getting towards the end of another year it would be a good time to share some of the plans for 4kingpoker looking towards 2008. As always I try to improve things on the forum from the members feedback, whilst I might not get every request implemented suggestions always get considered.

So things planned for 2008 …

It’s always been the plan to increase the amount of private tournaments for the forum when and where I can, we will be cramming the current freeroll & buy-in leagues into the first couple of months of the new year, increasing the number of games played each week at a more focussed core of poker rooms.

Once these leagues are completed we will be launching not 2 but 4 new twelve week leagues - 2 freeroll leagues and 2 buy-in leagues at sites and times appropriate for US, Euro and all players.

4kingpoker has grown really well in 2007 and we are increasing the monthly prize money on offer to reward members and hopefully encourage alot more new members to join.

On a rough calculation once the new tournaments are in place, combined with the forum posting jackpot …

We will be giving away close to $1,000 per month in added prizes Thats $12,000 per year … which is a great reason to be active in the forums and tell your mates about 4kingpoker.com

We have relaunched the monthly forum posting challenge - see news below.

The forum will be reorganised slightly to make it easier to see the poker related sections from the general ones
and also I have a new forum section coming which I think you will all find really useful (top secret for now).

We also have plans to be able to increase the strategy articles and poker news we have on the site in the New Year.
