Vote to Boost America’s Economy with Legal Online Poker & reform UIGEA

Yes you read it right … This is your opportunity to make yourself heard in the corridors of power and tell the new US president Barak Obama to overturn the previous administrations UIGEA (unlawful interent gambling enforcement act) sneaked in under the safe ports act …

Even more interestingly last week Rep. Jerrold Nadler reintroduced the Midnight Rule Act, which would mandate that all regulatory changes made by the White House within the last three months of an administration be approved by incoming Cabinet secretaries.

In other words the UIGEA was sneaked in orginally and the outgone president Bush pushed to get the UIGEA through in full in the last 90 days of his term … this means the UIGEA could be overturned under the midnight rule act.

This would remove the rediculous banking regulations put in by the outgoing US government expecting the US banks to regulate online gambling transactions under the UIGEA. As if the banking industry doesn’t have more important things to be worrying about.

Without the UIGEA American poker players could be helping boost the US economy, taxed and with some regulation – making it better for everyone.
