Biggest Pot on High Stakes Poker $1.2 million – Guy LaLiberte v David Benyamine

January 8, 2009

It’s official the biggest pot on high stakes poker (well nearly). With a total in the pot of $1.2 million between the pro poker player David Benyamine and billionaire poker maveric Guy LaLiberte.

I say nearly but that would spoil what is not only the biggest pot in high stakes poker history but also one of the most watchable Brunson comment is priceless …

This is not the first time Guy LaLiberte (ranked the 462nd richest man) has been at the poker tables playing for fantastically large pots – He is a regular high stakes poker player on the internet and can be found hemoraging cash at Full Tilt Poker.

According to BankrollBoost’s recent blog post Guy Laliberte aka noataima is keeping the high stakes games at FullTilt Poker juicy, having lost in excess of $6 million in 2007.

Giving David Benyamine a break in that $1.2 million hand on high stakes poker looks like small potatoes for the billioniare who clearly loves to be in the biggest games whatever the cost.
