After reading an interesting article over at poker professor’s blog on the high lead content in some poker chips - The Arizona health officials issued a warning that the world’s most popular casino chips Paulson brand poker chips manufactured and distributed by Gaming Partners International Corp are contaminated with high levels of lead.

Setting me off on a bit of a search for other poker chip related health issues - which I thought might make an interesting ramble.

It didnt take long to find out that poker chips like bar nuts and chips etc get there fair share of unclean hands on them. Could players really catch Ebola or the super bug MRSA just by playing poker ?
